Annual Holiday Benefit Show
Located in your community, giving back to the community.
For the past 17 years, Spendwood School of Dance and Gymnastics has performed a special benefit performance during the month of December. Up to this point, we've raised and donated over $75,000, supporting such causes as: Clothe-A-Child, Cohoes Music Hall, Cohoes-Waterford Elks, Parson's Center, Ronald McDonald House, Albany Medical Center Children's Hospital, American Cancer Society, the Cohoes Firefighters Children's Cheer Program, and the Cohoes School Performing Arts Booster Club.
Together, we have made a difference.

Rehearsals & Expectations
Rehearsals for the show are held on Saturdays from September until the week of the show. On Thanksgiving weekend, rehearsal will be held on Sunday to accommodate for travel. Since participation in the show is outside of the regular class, these Saturday rehearsals are the only time students have to learn and practice their dances. As such, attendance is critical.
